Raindrops falling outside my window perch,
And I’m wondering, what to do next!
Just then, my eyes caught sight of a little birdie-
Seeking shelter, atop a branch!
Flapping wings and chirping a melody,
He beckons another birdie for company!
His partner came flying, beating the raindrops,
And, together, half drenched in rain.
They kissed, sitting on the branch top!
